Victory! Christian Center (VCC) is a District Affiliated Church within the Potomac Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God.
What is now VCC began in 1917 as Shookstown Pentecostal Church of Frederick County. The church celebrated its 100th Anniversary on August 27, 2017.
In 1943, the church became affiliated with the Assemblies of God and was known as Shookstown Assembly.
The church acquired property across the street, and was moved to the present facility from its original location in 1956. The church was enlarged in 1970. Shookstown Assembly of God changed its name to Victory! Christian Center in 1992. In 2019, VCC was a recipient of the Potomac Ministry Network’s Extreme Church Makeover.
Located on the outskirts of the second largest city in Maryland, we strive to be all things to all people in Frederick, for Frederick – connecting the community to Christ through hands of hope!
VCC proudly supports missionaries within the U.S. and abroad through the Assemblies of God U.S. Missions and the Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM). Our Power Kidz are encouraged to support the Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC) as well.

POWER KIDZ MISSION:
Equipping kids to know, grow, and show God’s love!
Power Kidz meet Sunday Mornings during the Worship Service – Ages 4+. Students are dismissed around 11 AM from the service.
Our Nursing Mother’s Room and Toddler Nursery are available for your convenience.
